The Academy of Qimen & Feng Shui was founded by Jimmy Jing Xu, born and raised in the historic city of Yangzhou, China—a place deeply rooted in the wisdom of the I Ching. From an early age, Jimmy was immersed in a culture where philosophy, strategy, and harmony with nature were part of daily life. This environment shaped his lifelong dedication to the study and application of traditional Chinese wisdom.
Jimmy’s learning spans a broad range of I Ching–based disciplines, including Qimen Dunjia, Bazi, and Feng Shui, alongside Traditional Chinese Medicine and acupuncture. His studies connect the principles of natural energy, time cycles, and human well-being.
Building on this foundation, Jimmy has trained under several renowned I Ching masters in China—each specializing in Bagua, Bazi, Qimen, or Feng Shui. Through these distinguished lineages, he deepened his studies of the I Ching and mastered rare, hard-to-acquire techniques, including the intricate wealth-governing principles of gate and door orientations. In addition, Jimmy explored Daoist practices such as fu (talismans), zhou (incantations), and kaiguang (empowerment of sacred objects), further enriching his ability to understand and work with the unseen forces of time, space, and energy that shape human life.
The mission of the Academy is to share and promote this body of oriental wisdom in North America—making it both accessible and practical. Our vision is not only to preserve traditional knowledge but also to translate it into real solutions for modern living.
By integrating these time-honored traditions into contemporary life, the Academy offers unique perspectives and actionable strategies to address personal challenges, guide professional decisions, and support business development. In doing so, we provide more than insight—we deliver pathways to harmony, prosperity, and growth. Read more details here.
